ARISE is a local non-government organization that advocates and provides basic health services and solutions to the problems of rural communities in Uganda, with the goal of eradicating poverty.
ARISE started in 2001 as a brain-child of Hon. Beatrice Rwakimari who currently doubles as the Chairperson Board of Directors [BOD] and Executive Director. In the implementation of different projects, ARISE prioritizes participatory development approaches.
